SANARA HOTELTULUM WEDDING
We have to talk about Iqra and Dave’s epic wedding in Tulum if you want to see a nontraditional wedding! This chill-fun couple traded tradition for a ceremony in a beach-front yoga studio in the iconic Sanará Hotel in Tulum! There are few brides who can pull off wearing the yellow Sarah Seven wedding dress and definitely Iqra is one of them! Situated between the tropical jungle and turquoise waters, this eco-boutique hotel was the perfect spot to celebrate their love. This fun-loving couple traded a traditional wedding for a ceremony in a beach-front yoga studio at Sanara.
This unique wedding was planned by Diana Romo Weddings, one of the best wedding planners in the Rivera Maya. Iqra looked stunning in the marigold-colored dress. She dressed up with emerald accessories and a custom hairpiece created by Suma Cruz. The combination of jewel-tone color palette paired with the tropical views couldn’t have worked better! One of the key aspects of this wedding was the experience the guests got to enjoy in the lush jungle side of Tulum. Friends and family traveled far and wide to be at their wedding. Iqra wanted the guests to feel involved with the wedding. So she decided to have their wedding ring passed around. And then each guest had the opportunity to say a blessing. Definitely this moment was such a unique element in the ceremony, it made truly feel special.
Lastly, for the wedding reception, they decided to go with the open space and candlelit dining in Hartwood Tulum. The food experience at Hartwood was phenomenal and their cocktails were unforgettable. The party closed with the song from LCD Soundsystem’s “All My Friends”; as their closest friends and family gathered around. In conclusion, we are sure it will be a moment they will never forget.
