If there is one thing we really emphasize to ourselves and is always in our mind is the questioning of why we are in this photography "business". Having such a powerful skill and using it to superficially create "art" for one's ego that evaporate as quickly as an image uploaded on Facebook, overwhelms our minds sometimes. Then life surprise us with people who remind us of why we are doing this, and what photography, life is about.
We don't know if we can call this an "engagement" session, because the original plan was to just catch up with Barbara and Carlos and share our travel stories seasoned by a wine bottle in the beautiful landscape around San Diego county. Sometimes we take for granted the opportunity to sit down and connect with people. Sometimes amidst our busy life, a conversation is as deep as that picture of the food you just uploaded on Instagram. We promised ourselves to never let photography be more important than the people that are in it. Thank you Barbara and Carlos for always showing us love, and letting us be part of your lives, truly for us is a source of inspiration, and more importantly we find what life is. We can't wait to share more stories, and explore the world together.
